Multiple locations?

Has there been many people who have managed to get their tree service past one location on tree buzz? Or familiar with others who have done so successfully?

This seems like the next step in big business that I would love to learn more from. Most to 99% of tree services I know locally have never made it past one location. 10-24 employees at most from the bigger companies as well.

I worked for a company that had two 'branches' for a few years, one served north of the downtown, and one served south of the downtown. With the amount of work the company had it made a lot of sense from a logistical point of view to reduce travel times.

I was just a low man on the totem pole at the time so I really can't speak much to the business side of it, but the biggest issue I saw was that the owner of the company worked in one shop and that got most of the attention, and as a result the other one had a different 'culture' you could say and often alternated between feeling neglected by the boss and happy to have some distance. Like any business having someone trustworthy to run each branch is critical (and hard to find), and finding ways to have them work and act like one company instead of two separate entities is very important.
