ms200t handle assembly

OK so I'm pulling my hair out trying to swap out handles on one of 2 200ts. Dig? The throttle is whole but the handle on one is finished and I'm trying to remove the handle from a back up and put it on the other. I have all the screws out and everything's 'floating' but the fuel line and some other stuff is preventing me from removing the handle. Then of course I have to get it on the other one. There's a wire under the carb keeping it on among other things. Will I need to cut it off then solder it on the other saw? Shall I throw both of them as far as I can? HELP!

Google Stijl ms200t service manual, follow the links to the PDF downloads page, pay 4.95 through visa, then print out the manual.

That's the fastest cheapest way to obtain the handle schematic you need.

Whiz I have the service manual and I will be willing to scan the section you need and email that if you like. I could do this tomorrow. Just PM me with your email and I will try to get this off to ya dude. The thing here is you first need to remove the carb and then disconnect the fuel lines after that the wire you are talking about is the wiring harness which needs to disconnect from the short circuit wire connector. But the schematic diagrams tell of a sequence, it's not straight forward to the layman like you and me . You will need to follow it step by step. Not hard, you can do this. Let me know if you want to go this route. Here I got me some cool dudes at my stihl shop that do stuff like this for me in exchange for some nice lunch. We cool down here like that. But this stuff you can handle I am sure.

Whiz sent ya a PM, got the pages scanned and put on disk in PDF format. Just sent me a PM with your e-mail and I will send the attachment. This should solve your problem.
