Last weekend my brother told me that our Mom was a little more wobbly. At 94 and a half this wasn’t surprising

On Thursday I drove from Mpls to Dallas, arriving around midnight. Jim had contacted in home hospice care. The nurse was there early Friday.

On Saturday afternoon she left here to be with her one and Only Man. One of my nieces was sitting with her when she passed. Sis and bil from CA we’re on the plane

Mom sure was a good one. Always lots of support. Discipline might have been a bit harsh at times but us kids turned out ok. At least we, and her, think so

Now we start the next step. Ceremonies and celebrations. Then the plod to settle up

If anyone is in the Dallas area and needs any household goods DM me. Our plan is to give her stuff to an emergency support organization. There was a smashing tornado here last Thursday and people lost everything. Mom will help someone out

@Tom Dunlap
So sorry to hear. Sounds like a very good family. We are all going to get there. All the Best from me to you & Jim.

I’m sorry to hear about her loss, but glad she was able to live such a long life, and glad that even in death she will do good in helping others here on this earth!

I will be praying for you and your family through this incredibly difficult time.

Sorry for your loss my friend, and thinking of you and your family now. As some others have said, 94 is a good long time to be riding this orb. Rest is Peace Mrs. Dunlap.

I am sorry for your loss but it sounded like she passed with loved ones near by and 94 is a hell of a run. Take comfort in the memories as one day the tears will be replaced with smiles.

Thanks for sharing Tom. As others have said, 94 is a pretty good go! Glad you are seeing the positive - her final destination and the opportunity to share what she had with those who are now in need.

Condolences as you find that balance between mourning and celebration.
