Maximum sling diameter for safebloc

Looking into purchasing a safebloc. I want to splice a long 1" Samson Tenex tec sling onto it, but it seems like most retailers only sell the safebloc with 3/4" slings for some reason. Just wanted to make sure that the 1" sling would fit into the safebloc grooves without any problems. Would be using this with 3/4" Stable braid if that matters.

hello,i tried splicing 1" tenex onto the safebloc, when i remember correctly it did'nt fit properly, i think i was worried that it might slip out. i spliced a ultra sling with 3/4" tenex for max WLL instead... greetings

7/8” would probably work. That groove is a wee bit over .9”
