I hate having to post this...

Marden found us on the buzz and worked with us for 3 days. Mardy stole the gear we let him use while working here and there are several items missing from the truck he worked on. I have tried to reach him by phone and email, but he doesn't respond... If Mardy returns what he took I will remove this post.

I believe the name is correct.

This guy has a Missouri drivers license and that was the name on the license. He has been working as a "contract climber". He is originally from our area in Ohio and told me he wanted to move back home to be close to his family. He is 35 years old.

Let's get a posse together and round up that low down snake belly lickn' contract climbin' thief.

If he's a CA I'd say that would be arboricultural mispractice and grounds for sending drywalling. An employee shouldn't even take a pen from the office without permission. Remeber people are letting us into their backyards and trust is a big thing. 35 is old enough to know better. Houston we have a problem.

We had a guy work with us that ended with a similar story. Worked a short time and made off with the gear. Seems like this kinda thing happens all too frequently.

Mardy Grimm, just tried to apply with the company I work with, said he was from Miami and wanted to be closer to home and was looking in South Florida..Said he was currently working in Middle Tennessee, didn't return follow-up phone calls, so we let it go untill we were checking TreeBuzz.

Thanks for the heads-up, this guy sounds like trouble and he is still out there looking for Tree Work.

I hope you have concrete evidence this guy is as awful as you say he is. I cant believe you actually posted this...... you could be asking for a helluve a legal chitstorm.

Who spoke of this? Seems to me the truth was laid out, and others were warned.

Your original point has some validity that I had not previously considered. In the same token It is sad that this would have to be considered in matters like this...

Agreed. Lawyers are having a blast with people left and right due to Facebook, and other forum type public comments right now. The world is an effed up place. I can remember back in the day growing up in the wild west, people tacked up wanted posters of potential outlaws. But I guess that was 130 years ago....Im getting old
