Man box...

I've never had a truck with a man box. Don't know if the guys would ride in one... What's the morale after a long hot day having to ride home in one? Who all rides in one or makes their guys ride?

I wouldn't want to ride in one unless that was the only place with an ice cold Six pack. That would maybe make it tolerable. We have a man cab on our chip truck. It has a small A.C. unit but has been given up on long ago. It gets hot in there. Very unpleasant on a hot day, especially AFTER a long hot day.

I used it to nap in on the drive to the sites when I worked line clearance. The shop setup seems like a good idea but it would be nice to have a place to fit a 3rd guy without being overly cozy on a multi day job's ride back to the yard

OMG I had a climbing crew of 9, 5 guys rode in the mancab every day. I used to love that shit! All of my crew (other than me) were Mexican. They taught me to climb spurless way back in 2000. In fact, I have them to thank for my first Foreman slot. I had limited climbing experience and they blew me away with their skill and ingenuity. I could speak Spanish and they hated the dude that was foreman so there you go. I used to put my most valued guys in the cab and the others in the mancab. So much fun going to lunch and down the road. Brake check slackers! You'd hear those fuckers slam into the box and just fucking laugh! Damn I miss those days! Donde esta Hector and Pato?

I wish I new Spanish. I WANT TO READ THAT! This post had me. :risas: Teach me Loppa!

Donde esta just means where is- Hector and Pato were two of my best climbers(Pato means duck-his name was Jesse) They were some really cool guys. All in all, every one of those guys were real good people-I got lots of stories from those fools.

I worked with a couple here and there, and your right. Bunch of hard working good guys in all. Month ago we were teamed up with a landscaper. He had his own coe hook truck and 12" Carlton chipper. Man his two Mexicans were on top of everything .... hustling! We worked a good half day and had our 2 climbers and our three groundies. Huge Norwood maple with 4 20" leaders coming out the butt. Somewhat of a choked back yard. THEM BOYS WORKED! At the end I had to walk over and shake their hands and state "nice job!"

A little saying I remember from some time ago. (y)No se quando no se quien, no se natha muy bien, no se donde no se cual, se muy poco y eso si es mal.

As far as the man cab goes, how about a little opening where you can sell ice cream? I've been dreaming about cold vittles with all the heat. :(

Just grab the rescue saw, fire it up and hack a rectangle in the door. Now back to the a/c part, gotta keep that shit frozen.

The funny thing is.....round here, the ice cream man is Mexican . He plays a Jennifer Lopez song, but in ice cream truck jingle...so f*ckin funny! Dance the night away nanananananananana!!!!!!!

We are pulling our man cab off to make room for our toro tx1000...that's worth like 4-5 mexicans right?

We have not given the mini a nick name yet...we were thinking some thing mexican, like Pepe?

Local rental store has a mexican named Hosay. He is the standard to compare all workers to. We joke about how many average guys would be worth one of him.
