Makeshift Wrench and Tether(we'll see how well it works)

Made in one evening of stuff I had just lying around, that I wasn't using for anything else. I haven't put body weight on it yet, but it seems to tend and grab all right.

Here is mine, made by @Jehinten I have swapped to a piece of coolant hose with some cheap rope from a bag o rope as a tether, maybe I will make a steel tether since I have loads of it sitting around, may buy one at some point

this one works pretty good, never tried a real rope wrench so I have no idea how they work, but I did get to try out a zigzag plus with the chicane a few days ago, it was awesome.

View attachment 74218It’ll work fine. Mine’s a bit different but the CMI micro pulleys are all pretty similar. The normal Rope Wrench Slic pin fits in that hole where you got a bolt.
Yeah, I knew a slic pin would work, just didn't have one. The goal was to make one in a couple hours out of only what I had on hand. I ended up using a piece 9mm front bicycle axle with part of a qr skewer to hold it on. The axle spins a little like I imagine the slic pin would. I'll probably end up getting one for midline attachability.

That looks like a pretty slick system.
