Here are some pics of ace footlocker Jon Turnbull racing Martyn Honey (a big unit). All done in the interests of good fun at the Uk Arb trade fair last weekend.

The machine is powered by a strimmer engine with a WLL of 300Kg single line. Useful with pulley systems for raising/skidding logs.

Jon won in terms of speed, despite handicapping himself by starting one handed.

Martyn won in terms of laid back, one handed, ergonomic, easy rider cool! The only thing missing was a can of 'Stella' in his left hand and a cigar in his lips!

I wonder if accountants have this much fun?

I missed that at the show. Looks like fun and maybe the way forward for big tree work.Australia has Graeme mcmahon and scotty we have Martyn Honey and a modified strimmer!

What kind of saddle is the guy footlocking wearing? I don't recognize it.

Tree magic saddle. He did the whole thing one handed, I think it was declared a draw! Big Martyn was pretty nimble moving around branches that were in his way. Just shows that years of climbing never leaves you even if you do become the "biggest" gear retailer in the country.

Best thing I saw at the show.
