Green Team Solutions, a Tree Service & Landscaping Company, is looking for an experienced tree climber with preferably 3-5 years’ experience to start immediately. Must have own climbing gear. We are looking for long-term full-time employees. Competitive pay based on individual skill. Must have own transportation.

RESPONSIBILITIES

This position will involve pruning and general maintenance of trees and shrubs. Candidates must have prior experience with climbing, rigging, chainsaw operation and pruning.

• Performs all required ground and climbing duties in support of specific job assignments, as directed by crew leader or designated supervisor
• Demonstrates and practices proper climbing techniques and procedures
• Demonstrates and practices proper pruning and tree removal skills
• Demonstrates and practices proper rigging techniques
• Understands and demonstrates proficiency in all aspects of the ground person position
• Must be able to take direction, perform each job independently if needed as well as efficiently without any incidents
• Must be willing to help in all aspects of the job as needed

Required experience:

• Tree Climber: 5 years

For everyone who got excited that maybe there was a legit company in the virginia beach area I could work for. Never mind. My advice to green tream solutions would be to perhaps have pictures of climbers on your site actually wearing PPE whilst climbing. Learn proper terminology for Arboriculture. Artistic Pruning isn't an actual service nor is topping. I'm so sick of this market being inundated with crappy tree work and the "anybody can be a tree service" mentality.
