It's just too much bag for me. I've had it a few months, I think I loaded it with gear to climb in the front yard, and that's it. Perfect condition, just no tags. Will even include the 2 wire gate biners that I attach the shoulder strap with.

Might be interested. I've got a grey/black hitch climber that's been sitting around forever. I don't even remember ever using it. Looks brand spanking new. How much $ would you need with that thrown in?
 
Is it rapide? I figure that's worth about 60 bucks if so, slightly less otherwise. So hitch climber and 60-70 bucks?
Got anything else for trade? Try me-the bag is in immaculate condition, plus the two 8 dollar wire gates.
 
It's not rapide....hmmmmmm trying to figure out something else you might not need but have use for.......got a hank of Yale bandit laying around.....not sure how much of it is left after piecing it up here and there for different tools.

Speaking of, do you need any rope tools? Ice tail i2is? Got a few extra rings laying around....any use for those?
 
What kind of rope tools ?
I'd really love another zk2 without tether even. Got any spare Shigo?
DMM small rigging hub? Hitch climber plus pinto rig?

Trading is fun, but I'm thinking I probably don't have anything else you want other than the hitch climber.....and as you've pointed out, you don't even really need that. Meh, IDK man......I don't really need the bag either. If you don't manage to flip it in a few days I may get back with you with an offer for the pulley and cash on top, but it may be that we'd both be better off if you managed to get the full asking price from someone else.
 
Hey no worries jtree, I appreciate your willingness and the back and forth. It's a sweet bag, so dang cool and big and well made like all metolius stuff, but it just collects dust at my house
(The reality is my wife is smart, and she's catching on to my treestuff addiction. It's hard to convince her why I need the new thing I need when I don't use the last thing that I needed. Unload, reload-you get my drift? I'm sure my situation is not unique).

Lol, your situation is definitely not unique. A new huge bag would probably freak her out with the assumption that it would get filled with more new stuff. HA! The purchase would almost be worth it to see her freak out
 
I appreciate the offer big twig, but I already have a petzl rig that sees little use. Not really a rads guy-is there another use other than basal anchor or rads that I don't know about? It does look like a well made device
 
Is it kind of flimsy Jon? Or folds over with easily when set on the ground? I'm used to the Weaver doctor bag which I always have liked, but its on its last legs for sure.....3 years of brutality on it.
 
Hey mike do they come with your bolted ascender?;)
It stands up pretty well on its own, really heavy duty material, the circular ends give it some pep. It is considerably larger than the doctor bags. I think it would last a lifetime, I haven't used it to travel ever because I don't want to pay the overage fees for a 150 lb bag, which it could easily hold I'm sure.
 
Is that bag more of a work bag or travel bad, in your personal opinion. I'm looking to work that thing, spurs poking around and all.

If you wanted to buy the ascender and had time to wait...I'd mount it for you. It is a fairly simple process if you have got a good drill (or press).
 
Work bag, I think. Too big to travel well is what I was getting at, in my opinion.
How is your holding up?
I have no tools or ability.
This would really possibly be a trade I would be interested in, bag for spikes, and then if you ever have time I could send you the ascender with the bag, and whatever else you would want for your time? Let me know what you think mike!
