Leak on ditch witch 1050

We have a minor hydraulic leak on one of the inlet hoses to the pump. I’m not sure why there’s two inlet hoses but we tried to tighten the hose clamp and it was tight like tiger. Started when it got real cold. I thought it was like coolant hoses when they shrink in the cold weather. Any ideas or perhaps this is a common issue.

Probably need to replace that line , small chance you’ve over tighted and crushed that fitting it’s riding on. I hate working on those minis so gosh damn tight everywhere

Did you replace both hoses and use brand new hose clamps?

new hose, clamps and a bottle of brake cleaner. Had to go to point judith for the hose, napa tried to sell me radiator hose. that would have lasted a thought. its dry now. Had to jack up the end of the machine for a couple days to drain the oil that pooled up in the belly. didn't want it to park it on a driveway and leave a pancake spot.
