Bought this last year and have climbed on it twice with akimbo. Great match with the akimbo!! However I prefer a more static line as Tachyon is quite bouncy.

I wish they would switch to a different line for the Saluting Branches rope. I hate Tachyon with a passion, like being on a spring.
That’s why I’m selling it!! I thought I would give tachyon a try, however, it’s Not for me but some people like it a lot. I think it would serve a better purpose with MRS

It's definitely better MRS, I use it with a zigzag on crane jobs. I've used it once or twice SRS with a basal tie. Definitely has a yo-yo effect.
 
Wondering if it is the polypropylene that acts as a spring, its memory would want it to be a relaxed braid. Stretch it out and it wants to go back to relaxed, like a spring.
