Starting Monday (feb 9th), i'll have a little over a week off of work. My sister goes to college at Asbury College in Kentucky and some friends of the fam are going down into that area for a week. I'm just wondering if any certified company's in that area would like an extra climber/ hand for the week.

Money is tight right now, so a week off would hurt. I'm hoping that we can help each other out.

You can contact me either through tree buzz, through email Countryboypa31@yahoo.com, or by phone 609 464 1342.

A little about me; 3+ years climbing experience. I've always worked for certified arborists, i practice safe climbing practices. I have most of my own climbing gear/ 200t, saddle, etc. I'm 24, don't smoke, don't drink during the work week, and am a quick learner.

Am willing to go to other areas, but may need means of transportation/ lodging.

And, Derrick has a great personality and is easy to work with.

I've learned a lot of my techniques from Mark C.

No seriously though, thanks Mark. Hope to help a fellow buzzer out, and learn a lot from them at the same time.

Hey, we may be in need of you! We've been stuck at a horse farm here since last Thursday, so Monday is when we start working on down the list. I checked google maps and you're an easy half hour drive away from my house. I'll let you know soon.

Bump. I forgot to mention, i climb with all the correct PPE. Its become such a norm that it slipped my mind to mention it.

Week of Work

Maybe I should just say that i'm looking for a week of work. If you would like an extra climber/ worker for a week let me know. I know its a bit unrealistic but i figured you never know until you ask.

Re: Week of Work

I will check with the boss man and see.
It sounds good to me and I think we could use a little help.
Oh, were in Lexington, about 20 min from Wilmore.

Re: Week of Work

Lets just throw this out there as well, kinda a last attempt. I do have some storm damage experience, as Pennsylvania got hit last winter. I climbed to remove stubs and rips for about 2 weeks.

Re: Week of Work

Thanks i left you a pm and if i have any days i'm not working here in lexington i'll give you a call.

Very much appreciate the responses i've got. TreeBuzz has not only made me a better safer more educated climber, but has also helped me make a lot of friends and enabled me to climb with some great companies and climbers. Thanks Dave Leonard, Stacey, Jesse, Noah, and Sarah. I'm glad i could help you out and hope to help out just as much over the next couple of days.

There done with the shout outs.

Hope i have sometime to run over and climb with/ for you guys there at Limbwalker.

Re: Week of Work

Thanks couldn't have asked for a better guy to work and climb with. Thanks for all your and Sarah's hospitality.

I had a good trip home, got inspired from your amazing burgers and grilled me up some steak when i got home. Hope to get down there again, sooner than later.
