>The Montclair Foundation and Van Vleck House & Gardens seek an Executive
>Director with knowledge of public gardens, leadership ability and financial
>acumen to serve as CEO and spokesperson. Will be responsible to the Boards
>of both organizations to achieve the goals set forth in the long range
>strategic plan, successfully manage the affairs of the total organization
>and operate within an approved budget each year.

>The Executive Director directs and coordinates the following functions:
>horticulture, finance, public relations, and administration. Additionally,
>the ED will help develop and direct educational programs and events,
>fundraising activities, community and volunteer development, and personnel
>and volunteer management.

>Qualifications: Bachelor's degree with at least 5 years senior level
>management in not-for profit, public garden management and preservation.
>Requires strong horticulture, communication and interpersonal skills.
