Our friend Jeremy Tibbets died on Saturday.

To all our friends, dear clients, valued partners and fellow tree community members:

It is with heavy hearts that we share the tragic news of our friend, leader, and CEO Jeremy Tibbets, at the age of 37, passed away early Saturday morning from a heart attack.

We will truly miss his larger-than-life personality, enigmatic energy, huge heart and infectious laughter.

Jeremy had a vision. It was to Inspire Urban Forest Management throughout the Industry and America's Urban Communities. He also had a formula to bring his vision to life; it was to improve the lives of all that he associated and touched.

The leadership team is working to ensure A Plus doesn’t miss a step, as that is exactly what Jeremy would have desired. We want everyone to know that Jeremy left this organization strategically poised to be able to fulfill his vision, even if he wasn't a part of it. He always told us that he was an employee of A Plus and that the company was a result of all of the talent and teamwork he had created and grew.

As we take stewardship of the company he started and developed, we in turn will honor his legacy and his family.

Jeremy is survived by his wife and 4 beautiful children. It is A Plus’ utmost priority to do everything possible to support his family including his loving parents during this time of mourning.

The family is only requesting prayers at this time.

Rest in peace Big J. You will live on in our hearts. We love and miss you and will see you again.

Sorry to hear that Bonner, never met him but sounded like a standup guy! RIP

I remember listening to his webinar sales pitch. He seemed like a nice guy and I am sorry to see him go. Things like this really put life into perspective.

Prayers on the way to all. In all we do to support and provide for our families, the most important thing we can do is take care of our health. Too young to be gone. RIP young man

Ohhh...what a loss on many levels

I met him at the A Plus house party at Expo last year. We had a nice chat and more at their booth the next day.

Such an enthusiastic and sincere Man

Sad day

Crazy - just saw him at Arborfest Sac - big smile and a lot of energy. Same age as I am :-/

Thoughts and prayers to his family. Just older than I am. Four children just as I have. Scary on so many levels.
