Our chipper has been getting painted for way longer than it was supposed to be and I got kids man! So if anybody in NE Ohio is working and wants or needs an additional climber for a few days let me know.

Or how about smaller jobs where brush could be taken to a mulch producer?

I have done a bunch of my own work that way, unfortunately the company I climb for isn't into doing tons of pruning in the winter time. They do the big "every tree in my backyard" jobs which requires the ground to be frozen so not to destroy with a skid steer.

I'll just keep reading books and PHC pdfs and stuff.

I have no idea.
The weather hasn't been fabulous but I have been working outside at home the whole time.

Nothing to rent that would be big enough for what we do on a daily basis. Only rental places around here rent up to about 10" chippers I am pretty sure.

And I don't believe I am the low man on the totem pole since I am the one who climbs all of the trees.

I can attest to the fact that the weather here this winter has made it very difficult to work... no freeze and super saturated yards.
