. If you don't call then I will. Do you think this is legit?

The Pacific north west is a nice place but I wouldn't take that kind of pay cut to live there. Roger will just have to keep looking.

wonder what would be asked of a guy that was paid that much....

To sell.

My guess is that's a base plus commission salary and they're really stretching the range to make it appealing.

the ad said for tree climber/crew leader, not salesperson. That seems like a lot of money for a climber? Maybe their crews work twelve hour days.

It really puts you in control. It's good to go in skeptical, then you'll be more likely to ask probing questions to uncover the truth of the matter.

I'd say call em up and ask to meet. Nothing ventured, nothing gained!

That IS a lot of money for a climber; think about workers comp on $2300 a week.

I've seen a number of ads for climber/foreman/crew leaders that required selling. In NC a regular crew leader or lead climber with 7-10 years experience, a clean drug test and a CDL might get a salary of $50K to $65K. A salesperson on the other hand is limited only buy their ability to bring in the profitable jobs.
