Indiana TCC 2012

Gear check and judges meeting will be held on Friday, September 21, 2012 at the Courtyard Lafayette.

150 Fairington Ave
Lafayette, Indiana 47905 USA

This would be a good place to book a room if you are competing or helping.

Also, any potential volunteers and judges shoot me an email luke @ treestuff.com

You guys were freaking amazing last year and we can do even better in 2012.

We are excited for another great event this year!

There's only a few weeks til this event. Many of you know that the Michigan event is Sep. 15th. This is a chance to do 2 events back to back. I'm partial to both so I'm going to both. Anyway, in order to nail down such things as t-shirt quantities and sizes, I would like to encourage volunteering and registering to climb as soon as possible. Indiana still needs volunteers in every capacity. I know some heavy weights are already signed up. Like many chapter events, we still need people to show up at 7am on Friday the 21st to set up. Gear inspection is later in the afternoon. I learned the hard way what a tall order it is to pull gear inspections on race day. I also know that it can be a tall order for climbers to come into town the day before a comp because there's mouths to feed but gear inspection can take hours and in late September daylight burns quick and can make for near panic when trying to wrap up an event. This event could probably use a boost so if you can, volunteer or climb! See you there.

Kristian,
I look forward to doing both comps as well. I am still on teh fence if I am going to help out iwth this party or throw my chicken in the ring and be part of the fight.
