Illinois Fall Comp 2008

The Illinois Arborist Association is holding a fall Tree Climbing Championship on September 27 in Peoria at Bradley Park. We can use all the help we can get. The June 7 comp was a big success thanks to the many "out of staters" who helped. The winners of this comp will represent IL in Providence, RI in 2009.

Set up Friday September 26, 2008
Competition Saturday September 27, 2008

Re: Illinois Fall Comp

Like always Norm sign me up as well to help. Hopefully I can get Friday off as well to come help with set up. Definately be there for the day of.

Count me in Norm. I don't think Toni will be able to make it, but I am still holding out hope that she will be able to convince her bosses that spending any time with you is much more educational that what she could get at the Arboretum. I will be sure to be there for set up and anything else you need.

Oh yeah, count me in for the splicing party (knitting session) too !!!!

plenty of time, plenty of time...
HURRY UP!!

sorry i can't help out on this one norm. count me in for the tci student comp though, unless i have to work the NATS booth. (actually the trade show prob. doesn't overlap).
k.

OK ...... it might be the “Magnificent Seven” ???
(six being a whole lot more magnificent than me)

Anyway ..... come on folks !

This is the IL TCC with “cousin Norm” leading the charge.

Thank you. I now have 2 judges from the "Buzz" for the student comp.

I was under the understanding following a conversation at the ITCC that at your comp held earlier this year an out of stater was allowed to compete in the masters challenge.

I completely agree i shouldn't be allowed to represent your chapter at the ITCC and I'm even cool with no prizes. I was really hoping that if the oppurtunity would arise i might have the chance to sharpen my skills in the masters..

Would that be a possiblity? Please, Please :)

No 'out of staters' have ever competed in a Master's in IL. That's a hard & fast rule of mine. Sorry.
Several out of state climbers have competed in the prelims, tho.
