I wasn't there, but when he got to the bottom he yelled "Smoked It!", unclipped and walked over to the elevator. Two old ladies were sitting in the lobby, and one of them asked him how he did at the competition that day.
"pretty good" he said before getting into the elevator wearing his harness, and full PPE.
I love my co-workers.
