Husqvarna power pole saw

I was referring to the gas powered one, I have never ran an electric saw of any kind. Do you think they have the power to attack a big failed oak with thigh sized limbs covering a car and a fence and a gutter (just for example).

10" limbs may require 2 batteries if there are many but it also shines in the small cuts you can make. Large cuts are butter smooth and quite speedy. Weve had ours a short time but id estimate you can make 25ish 10" cuts on a battery. I may be mistaken though. The balance and overall convenience are what really shine

Gas Stihls are incredible. HT101 and HT131 are what I have. The 101 is a tad lighter and pulls the max bar length of 12 inch well full of oak wood. The HT131 can handle a 14 inch bar and pulls that full of oak well. Both are the older rounded extendable tube. As I understand it they have gone back to that after a short time with a squarish tube that was problematic. (Avoid buying that if you can.)

If you bend an extendable tube the whole replacement pole is like $450 but individual parts are available. After tossing one front tube at first thinking I totally screwed it up I figured out that I can just put a tweaked front tube between a tight branch and the trunk of the tree and do small incremental bends changing location/bend point. (Bend/flex - check for straight, move bend/flex etc.) Slight vibration even if created by a bad bend that did not get back to straight will function for a long time.

Husky's battery pole has been good. I get a lot of mileage with customers doing quiet work. But....if a person didn't need it now wait till they put the same motor and battery technology in the pole that they just put in the top handle saw - what a beast. (I was bucking a 16 pine log with it yesterday, cut after cut.)
