Husky 562xp

I just ran one of the new 562xp saws that are due to come out in about a week now. Wow. What a nice package. It was fitted with a 20" bar and it walked it just fine. Overall, a nicely balanced and smooth running saw with power to spare. I like that Husky is now using a single control switch for all the functions and the auto tune seems to be a nice feature. The new laid back design makes for a more compact size and reduces the gyro effect when changing cutting positions. Wondering if anyone else has run this saw and what they thought of it. I think I want one.

About a year ago I ran the prototype version of that saw and it was a real runner for sure. I am sure the production models are awesome. Autotune on saws is the way to go IMO.

Shh...don't tell my wife or my business partner, but I want one too

I think it is pretty good for what it delivers. I have a great running muffler modded 036 and this new saw stomped all over it. Plus it has the great air filtration system that Husky is known for. You know. Check it and maybe clean it every month or so. Not like the Stihl. Clean it at lunch and again at the end of the day.

Mike the 562 works great , I put 40 tanks threw her before checking my air filter and nothing was in it , it looks just like new , I ran the stock 562 against my stock 361 and the 562 was close to 25% faster with the same bar and chain, modded the 562 in 18 inch hardwood beat my stock 7900 by 1/2 a second using the same bar and chain and the videos are on youtube if you want to see
