@swingdude; I just wanted to say I'm not sure what you meant by the previous post.

@Samsquanch was just trying to point out to you that when you used the "@" symbol followed by her screen name, you sent a notification to the wrong person. Her first post in this entire thread was the one you just quoted in the previous post. Every other post in this thread was by a male forum member with a very similar sounding username. Namely, @samsquatch. These two very different people live on opposite sides of the planet. That is all she was attempting to point out. She meant no offense, in my humble opinion.

Not relevant, but if I remember right, she's a rope splicer and smart as a whip. Again, in my humble opinion.

There can be only one @Samsquanch, just like in the Highlander movie. The other is @samsquatch, who does not capitalize his username, and has a "t" before the letters "ch" at the end of HIS name, instead of the "n" that Samsquanch has at the end of HER name. Clear as mud now, I'm betting.

Back on topic. I honestly love human, i love how hes opened up about his life experiences etc and shown his journey. That being said, i dont watch his tree work vids anymore, i cant, too many dogy moves. The constant one handing really does my head in, odd choice of cuts etc, lots of safety stuff, just...yeh heaps that i just dont agree with. I like that he shows and owns his mistakes, and i still like him as a person, but fuck i cant stand watching him do dangerous dumb stuff when they're better ways that he has avaliable to him.

Like even that fall video, bounce test with a groundy on the line too...could have saved allot of pain

That solves the sewn eye vs. spliced eye debate. Drop them both for the painters tape eye. I'm pretty sure I can excel at that with a few hours of practice.

working on the proper wrapping technique for the duct tape rigging rope. And you have to use the white $2 store painters tape for kernmantle, the easy lift blue stuff wont work with the jacket construction of kernmantle.

I know Human personally. I meet him in St. Louis back in September. At the Salute to Branches. I worked with him and it was a fun day. He is a work horse like a lot of those guy's were that day. He is a very nice guy. I would like to work with him again. Everybody has to start somewhere. Now on the addition thing I don't know. But i am a recovering addict that will be clean for 12 years on October 17th 2019.
