M. LaBare Certified Arborist, LLC has stayed committed to the highest standards of Arboriculture since 2007. Our team is growing, and we are looking for an experienced Climber (1-year minimum) to join our team. We offer competitive wages and access to industry related training materials.
Responsibilities of a Climber:
• 1-year minimum experience
• Knowledge of climbing, pruning (without the use of spikes), and removals
• Willing to obtain ISA Certified Arborist Certification within a year of employment
• All types of tree work laid out by ANSI A300 standards
• Knowledge of crane assisted removals a plus but not required
• Properly maintain, prepare, and operate all tools and equipment including hand tools, chainsaws, and chippers
• Operates as part of a crew while supporting other climbers and foreman
• Complete Arboricultural related tasks in a safe manner
• Hauling brush and wood from tree to chipper
• Keeping the work area clean
Must have a clean and valid driver’s license
Must be willing to undergo a pre-employment background screening and drug testing (no exceptions)
Must be able to PASS a Federal DOT physical
Compensation is based on qualifications and experience
