I like mine, be better with a built in swivel, which I understand is in the works but no timeline known (there's a pic of the prototype as the header on a page of his site).
I'm waiting on a DMM Director (the shackle/swivel/carabiner combo) to use on mine. I know some other guys run the standalone DMM shackle swivel with regular biner but I saw the Director and decided to run mine as is while I waited but it definitely needs a swivel. Haven't tried it as a stand alone SRT device but it does everything a lanyard adjuster should do and it holds in single leg configuration for work positioning just fine. I imagine in a pinch you could use it SRT but it's surely not rated for that (then again, it's not technically rated for anything at all).
