HH2 price increase

Some have been peeved by our sudden price increase, so figured I'd explain our decision. We have maintained a very low price for an extremely durable product as I know first hand how hard the buyers work to earn that money. I have refocused away from Ropetek back to tree work because of certain factors within the industry. With my extra effort in the tree business it has flourished and I have not needed to raise the price even though we make very little.
My machinist who makes these for us, who is also my best friend in the world. He is 67 and for as long as I've known him, will help anyone out that wants help. He has a really nasty cancer and has been put through the wringer for over a year. Luckily for him his company injection molds a lot of plastic parts so even in his absense they have been making a little money. Covid has killed his orders. He has kept his staff on and applied for a govt loan. Anyone heard the one about a guy from the govt that's here to help you? Anyways we have raised the price and Dave is getting 100% of what WE sell them for.
Dave has helped me more than any person on the planet and this is the least we can do for him.

Even at the new price the HH2 is still a massive bargain Paul. $220 for one of the best devices on the planet? Are you kidding me? Glad to hear that Dave is once again able to be producing the HH2, and its great to see you around here... Its been awhile...

That's about the best reason for raising the price I can think of. I would gladly pay the extra if I needed to replace mine. It is hands down the best all around friction device I have ever used and recommend it to every climber I work with. I wish all the best to you and Dave.

Sorry to hear about your friend, Paul.

The HH is the toughest, longest lasting multicender available. It would be a bargain at double the price.

True dat DSMc, and when dialed in it is one of the smoothest, get-er-done, no nonsense, multi purpose devices on the planet.

Yes, I find the HH has the best blend of performance characteristics, for tree work, of any of the tools I have used.

"Wishes are fickle beasts indeed. They can be gone with the blowing out of the candles or linger long enough to alter the path you take."

Is this yours DSMC or did you pic this up somewheres? Either way it is really beautiful...

Paul,

I have some gear I have been meaning to sell, to include a first generation HH. Let me know how I can donate any proceeds to your friend.

Tony , thanks for the offer but Dave has a lot of pride and doesnt even want to take extra money from me let alone strangers. I keep telling him it does neither one of us any good if he cannt keep his business alive so he is begrudgingly taking my help......

Fair enough. Does he have a favorite charity?
