So i am looking for some heavy duty heat shrink tube such as the kind used to cover grizzly splices and other stitched products. i am interested in using this tubing and some small labels in order to label lengths and constructions on the end of our rigging slings and ropes. we have just recently taken on a summer intern and having properly labeled rigging gear is going to make my life alot easier. I was hoping maybe Rich H or John H would be able to help me out with this? any help would be appreciated.

Hey Tyler,

I certainly have large stock of various sizes of heat shrink tubing, however, I do not offer any direct sales. Your local ABR dealer should be able to help you get a hold of what I carry.

Hope this helps !

I wouldn't mind having some readily available too. I like the idea of being able to label the splices and also to protect the seizing from chafing wear especially on items that are used in positions away from the climber.

as soon as i posted this i continued my search and discovered that treestuff had tubing....but i do agree that this tubing may not be quite as rugged as what i am searching for. i will most likely give the treestuff tubing a try first due to the fact that i have a severe treestuff addiction, but my search for the rugged tubing will continue

I looked long and hard for it and found that if I could be patient there would be some reasonable deals on Ebay.

Whatever you do make sure you don't get the epoxy tubing!!

I've got a bunch in the shop somewhere that I will never use. I think I have some for for 3/8ths, half-inch and maybe 5/8ths ropes. If you are interested PM me and I'll go look for it. Perhaps we can come to an accord.
