Hawaiian storms

With all the news lately about the subzero weather and snow that the Midwest and East coast areas are experiencing, we shouldn't forget that Hawaii has its share of devastating weather. Attached is a photo illustrating the excessive damage caused to a home from a storm that passed through the Hawaiian Islands yesterday. It really makes you cherish what you have, and reminds us not to take life for granted. See attached.

All right, that one really made me laugh.

But dang the closest I've ever come to death was in Waimea Bay stuck in one wicked rip-tide. I was young and trying to body surf those big winter swells, what the hell was I thinkin'???
