Looks like a great event !! You can't beat hands on training when learning how to splice. A class like this will take years off your learning curve and save you a ton of frustration.

I hear it is shaping up nicely, and the goodie bags are sweet. Can't wait for this to get here- we need a name for this event, think snow, rugged New England Winter, Markp's palacial abode, splicing to fend off frostbite. Hey Rich- we gotta hook up soon, been to long.
 
If you're reading this and thinking about going, SIGN UP! Having an experienced had guide you in your splices will not only make you a better splicer, but it will also make you a more astute rigger. Once you know how a splice is "supposed" to look, you'll start noticing things about splices and ropes that you've never noticed before.

Thank you to everyone for such a great weekend of splicing!

The class was fantastic and I met alot of wonderful people who share a passion for rope, and for learning.
