Haix Boot

I used to get boots from marks, they would last 6 months, I bought the planner zermatts and they kick ass. 2 years using them at least 5 days a week. Climbing in spurs, pruning, hauling brush. I also use them on weekends for camping , hiking , and snow shoeing . There still good but I'm out of tread, I'll buy them as long as pfanner keep making em.

I looked at several different boots and tried some of them on when I was at treestuff.com last year. I thought all were too stiff and the soles were no softer than other "normal" boots. I have been a Merrell fan for years and wear their Accentor 6" boots currently. Soles and easy on the trees. Flexible for climbing and limb walking. Very comfortable. Unfortunately Merrell has a practice of renaming and changing up styles every year or two. So when I find one I like I buy a couple pairs and shelf the extras for the future. Plus they don't cost $200. But for spikes I use 8" leather Georgia boots with defined heel to keep spikes steady.
