They've shut down entry to the test phase of Google+, enough people registered already.

Good to see a challenge to facebook dominance but Google is such a monster, they're swallowing everything. Even big bad Microsoft is running scared from Google's push to world (web) domination!

That said if Google does a good job with it facebook will become irrelevant, may the best app win out.
