Super Ultra Mega Spring Cleaning!!!
Yeah, so I've gone through my gear storeage, my deep storeage, and my deep deep storeage. I've got the following items up for sale. A lot of has been hanging out a while. Some of it a VERY long while, like beginning of my tree climbing days, but all of it is in working condition, and I'll try my best to give an accurate description of the condition of each item.
1) *spoken for....considered sold* Brand spanking new Buckingham Viking saddle. Size M (32"-36"). It's not in the plastic anymore, but I've never hung off of it before either. Bought it as a backup, and stored it in a gear bag with a spare set up in case I ever needed rescue. Never needed rescue years latter. The slight scuffs it has (basically nothing) is due to gear shifting around in the bag. $125 to take this bad mamma jamma and make it yours.
2) Left handed Pretzl Ascension. I've probably used this baby 10-15 times. A few minor scrapes, but nothing wrong with it what-so-ever. Just never liked using it really. $35 bucks y'all.
3) Trango Piranha knife. Need to stab a beetle? Or maybe you are looking to ARM a beetle for your diabolical scheme to conquer the world with your beetle army? This tiny little knife will fit the bill. It's made to be an emergency knife hooked to a carabiner. I think I used it one time to cut some throw line. $7 to own this little guy that can easily fit in a wallet.
4) Buckingham friction saver. IDK exactly how long it is but it ain't one of the short ones. I can measure it if you want. Pretty sure it's the steal rings, but if it's a major concern of yours, I'll try to stick a magnet on it to confirm. Comes with a factory made adjustable prussik so you can choke a stem when it gives you lip or talks trash about yo momma. It's used, but by no means abused. Barely any wear on it at all. $35
5) *SOLD* Fiddle Blocks set. Comes exactly like the set here: http://www.treestuff.com/store/catalog.asp?category_id=346&item=1077#detail
There may be some tiny scratches on the blocks, and the prussik isn't fire engine red (more like hot pink now), but this thing has seen very little use. maybe pulled it out of my rigging bag 5 or 6 times. I can post pics later if anyone wants, but in the mean time, I think $175 is a solid price
ROPE! ROPE! ROPE
I'm not going to be selling all of this, but what I sell and what I keep will be determined by what sells first. I just don't need all of this.....honestly, I don't remember BUYING all of this.....or splicing most of it. The measurements are approximations, but they are close approximations. They may be a foot or 2 off, so please don't be upset if you bought 300' and it is really 295. I did what I could in the livingroom.
6) 300' of 1/2 arborplex. Brand spanking new. I like this stuff for light rigging when I don't really want to use one of my "nice" ropes, but hey, that's me. Some folks climb on it. The hank would go for 189 new, but I'll let her go for a hundo ($100)
7) 245' of used arbormaster blue and yellow. 2 tight spliced eyes by yours truly. Again, it's in great shape. Barely used. No fuzzing or damage. Been in a bag in a clean storage room. $145
And that's it....for now. I'll probably throw a few more items up as the next few days go by, but this is what I've got for now. Shipping is on you, unless we come to a different agreement. Paypal is how money will change hands. As I don't have postage scales on hand, how we'll do it is I will ask for the price we agreed on up front, then when I get it mailed, I'll let you know what the shipping invoice rang up as. I'll ship it however you want me to. I'll give you tracking numbers. If you want to shop for the best pricing, it'll be shipped from AC 75501.
Am I up for trades? You bet your bottom dollar I am. Things I would want: HC or pinto pulleys (can't have enough of 'em), Yale 11.7 rope, static lines, 1/2 DB rigging lines, large or beast x rings, tenex tec just about any size, double becket rigging pulleys, steal or aluminum biners (limited number), carrier fid, marlin spike, swedish fid, or any number of different items. Just ask.
