I got chiseled down to well below half price on a removal for a repeat customer. They have a seasonal residence and I didn't have good contact information so I did the job in the off season and figured I'd catch them this summer for a thank you and a cheque.
Anyway I'm working across the street for two days and see vehicles at their place. The tv goes quiet and no response on the two back doors. I knock on the front screen door and see the old dood hiding under his kitchen table. When spotted he comes out saying he doesn't know why he was under the table and works me for a half hour on how he remembered paying. I finally got paid.
The weird part is this is the rich of the rich of this area. Sad eh, the poor empty their change jar to pay and are so grateful and the rich hide under tables.
I'm starting tho see the anarchist's take on "F*ck The Rich".
