Free power pruner.

We were given this by a client. The bar and chain were rusted together. The gas tank was full of water. Carb was nasty. The throttle cable was frozen. Of course the primer was long gone. The fuel lines were shot. Also the recoil spring was rusted, and in pieces. In a few hours at the house with the saw bone yard we have a nice functioning power pruner. Pre Echo power pruner.

I had one of those originals. Quite a leap forward. I did feel like a hack using it though.

I have a hedge shearing attachment for that unit. I'd make a sweet deal with whoever decides to get the Power Pruner

A hack? There are times that this is the right tool. I took this one from scrap to running. We will get use out if it.

Of course it can
Be the right tool. The one I had was fitted with coarser chain that what's used now. Making a sloppy pruning cut was easy. Making a nice cutntook skill

Yes. That is a very good point. I would not use it on anything small in someone else's yard.
