I would like to buy it to have a second one for another crew.

Hobbs hoarder here. I have 2 of the newer H2 version, and my old original which I purchased from Mr. Blair many moons ago. The old one was literally run over by a D6 about 25 years ago. A little welding here and there and she has been fine ever since. Try doing that with the GRCS?

1" bull-line. We bought this stuff in 1000ft spools down at the docks in SF. We called it the tug boat rope.

Bruce would scream at me if I wasn't giving him BIG logs. No matter how big, old Bruce always took care of me.

Very old pics of a couple 180-200 ft Fir removals being blocked to themselves. I was up for anything in my 20's. Fuck that!

Is that all??? Daniel did a 42ft log over 2 houses and a new mother pushing her 2 month old. All from a bucket with the tapered slice dice bore it twice cut with half inch true blue...(sorry Daniel, couldn't resist. All in good fun)

More like young and dumb! I also knew I could always trust that Bruce would never ask for more than our gear could handle.

I used to work for a guy like that. Certainly pushed me to go farther than I thought I could and trust what the gear could handle. On the other hand there were occasions where the collateral damage took the fun out of it and the profit.

So it was 42 ft long. Big fucking deal. Any old idiot can use a tapered slice dice, bore it twice cut. Been there, done that.

A fella worth his salt would've known that a Swinging French Tickler with a semi-intentional overshot/undershot back-cut would have been a much better cut for that situation.
