First Respnder Training?

I've been looking into first responder training wondering if its worth the hassle..I want it for myself I asked the last company I worked for which was owned by Davey Tree and they weren't interested in paying for it! I figured it would be beneficial to anyone in this field since spinal injuries and major bleeding are things we could possibly encounter any day we work! I'm curious if this is worth going after to help my career! I'm first aid and cpr certified but thought this was another good way to better myself! Has anyone else done the training and can recommend a good place near East TN!

Hello,
I am a Red Cross Wilderness First Aid Basic/When Help Is Delayed Instructor. If you are in a remote location (1 hour away from difinitive care) then I would say...yes go for it.
I really think that having you and your crew well versed in aerial rescue and what to to in that situation would be very helpful as well.

I took the wilderness first responder years ago (it needs to me re upped) and it was very helpful and informative. I don't know if career wise any employes will care or not, but for peace of mind and self betterment i would say go for it
