One of the best things an arborist can get in on! Need CEUs but sick of the same expos and conferences every year? Just wanna learn how to splice? Get your ass to Fids and Fibers.
I went knowing very little about splicing and have left with the experiences and resources to help me continue strengthen my splicing skills.

Awesome awesome sponsers supply the cordage we all work with and love, the tools we use and love, and plenty of shwag. Manufacturers and distributors we're all familiar with and some I'm happy to have learned about.
Mark P is an excellent instructor, amazing ability to work with people, and a love for splicing, rope, and sharing his knowledge.
And a kind host.
To everyone there, it was a pleasure meeting new faces and catching with familiar ones. Looking forward to crossing paths again.

I just wrapped up 15 hours or so sleep recovering from the superb Fids and Fibers workshop. Why sleep when you're surrounded by amazing people ready to share everything they know? Can't say enough good things about the experience, the people, the instructors, the ropes, the gear! Thanks to Mark, Bear, Melissa, everyone who was there, and the generous sponsors!
