I read Never Cry Wolf a number of years ago. My cousin named his Labrador Retriever after him.

Never Cry Wolf is a great book and movie. He was a bit controversial in some of his non-fictional work like The Farfarers. A good read and does get one thinking. Considering the amount of new data that has really overturned any earlier concepts of how North America was settled, it does bear some serious consideration.

Sibir and Sea of Slaughter were probably my faves. But those prairie stories were close to home.
