The Velcro strap for the waist/belly. I do enjoy it because it keeps some chip-throw out the britches. My concern with it has become that after a while you can notice a hard white plastic revealed at the point it exits the interior of the waist belt.
With my old Edge Saddle; that hard plastic has become a pinch point. Is this a reoccurring problem with anybody else?
Im wondering if I want to get away from the waist stabalizer with my next saddle. Almost willing to save some $ and downgrade to the Buckingham Rebellion. (Just not sure about the leg loops on that one. Looks like they would rotate to the outside)
Lemme know if you have noticed this same thing.
Thanks.

Thinking about the Empire. So if anybody has owned one, a little extra insight there would be great too.
Does it run big like the Edge did?
Any problems with the belt loosening?

If you don't like the velcro waist loop it is easy to remove (and i'm 99.9% sure it's ok to use without it) I was trying out an ergovation and hated that velcro thingy, All you need to do to take it off is undo a pair of snaps on the back of the saddle and pull it through a slot in the side of the harness. Pretty sure the procedure is detailed in the manual that comes with the harness.

I own the empire and the Velcro works great the only complaint I have is that it’s not true to size on treestuff which is where I purchased it from. It says it will fit waist size 36...if 36 is actually a 42 then I guess they’d be pretty accurate. Trying to sell my empire as I had to drop a pretty penny on the treemotion, but i doubt anyone with a 42 waist is climbing a tree, if you are, more power to ya and buy my saddle!

Dang. So you think someone with a 34/36 waist should get the small? That’s how it was with the edge.
