Louisiana. Right outside baton rouge. I did not want to waste my MGIB and was going to go to school for medical billing...but I love what I do and have learned alot so far I don't think I am making the right move. I don't know might just have to hit the book real hard and go fer it. Thank you for some helpful info!
 
I once took a refresher course the day before I took my ISA exam...oops. Not only did it not help me with the material but it didn't help me understand the exam. What did help was when someone said "LOOK Kristian, the exam is NOT written by arborists but by a separate testing entity. Further more you will NOT pass the exam if all you do is study the guide." Big wake up call for me. Go get 'em! Whiz

Not sure where the info came from that was passed along to you. The truth be known, the test IS written by arborists. I know because I am on the committee that writes the test questions. I will agree that not all the questions come from the study guide.

Best of luck with the test. Remember that ISA Certification is like a drivers test. It's not the little card they give you when you pass that is so important. It's where you go with it that counts.
