I say wait until the auction ends before we start making fun. You never know if there's a cabinet maker around the corner that knows he can turn that tree into a big profit, and so will pay someone to cut it down for them. Everyone walks away happy.

I can see from the photo that there is metal in the tree from the flag pole braket, I would assume the wood is stained.
