Crane and Rigging workshop in IL near St. Louis

The IL Arborist Association is having a 2 day workshop on advanced rigging and working safely with cranes, September 18 (Friday) and Sept. 19 (Saturday). It will be held in Edwardsville, IL., which is just North of Saint Louis, MO.

The IL Arborist Assoc. Executive Director is outa town this week. I left voicemail for her regarding this. She is the one that posts this stuff on the web site.
If there is time, we plan to have attendees "work the tree".
Registration will be around $150. The more we get signed up, the less $ it will be.
We're hoping to get arborists from the St. Louis area to attend.
Thanks for responding.

Hay, Norm is the member price and the non-member price the same? The reason I'm asking is the crain operator I just started to do business with, is thinking about attending as-well.

I'm not sure about pricing. In the past it has been the same. I'm waiting to hear back from the folks down there for sponsorships, crane availability and meals. Sounds like Vermeer is in as a sponsor. They would like to display some arborist equipment both days.

OK, finally have it all put together. The price for both days is $200. A one day attendance is $125. Rigging is Friday Sept. 18 and crane safety-tree removal is Sat. Sept. 19.
Kristian Schultz has offered to help out as well. Thank you Kristian.

Norm, I think Rick and I are going to make the trip (for two days each) if there's still room.
