Cool elm project

Great News Story, Mac! Hopefully we'll get to see these new resistant strained trees here in WI. So sad to see almost all the older ones nothing but rotted stumps. Glad to see that you got to be a big part of the initial conservancy.

Like the work being done on the american chestnut always cool to see effort to deal with man made plagues. We've seen a lot of elms here fall victim to this newest round of DED.

We've had some trees with DED, but also EPN (phloem necrosis). I agree with efforts made to bring these back, as I'm also a real fan of what the American Chestnut Foundation is doing.

I just posted a link to the newspapers video like three posts back on this page, it's better than the first one anyway
