Why should anybody give you personal information about themselves? You tell nobody about yourself, nor do you leave any information about yourself in your user profile. You're a stranger and full of ( )it.Joe

Thanks for the reply, Joe. Why am I full of it? Why would you slam me for not wanting to advertise MY credentials? I was told the people hanging out at Buzz were a different breed than the other sites. Guess not. Here's my number ***-***-****. So show me what you're made of and give me a call and say what you want, and to my face.

O.K., My apology. You are looking for climbers.

I've posted enough at this site if you wish to do some research you'll turn up something interesting. Maybe you'll find out why the breed here is different.

hey joe have you ever had a run in with this guy or what . i myself have put some posts out looking for help or trying to sell some equipment i hope i was not offending any body by doing this . or is there more to this individual than we are not aware of . the only reason i ask is i enjoy this site very much and enjoy interacting with all the good people involved and if i was doing something against the grain i would like to make the proper corrections so i would not continue to offend. or is it this particular individual that gets your shorts in a bunch.

I'd give him the benefit of the doubt as to his proposition if you're interested and can meet his criteria. He really is a 2 time ITCC champion, so he's 1 of the greats alright. Like anybody else, watch what you say to people.

Mark and I have agreed to be pretty generous about how things flow here. So far, there have only been a couple of pretty minor issues. We will write to the poster, off-line- and ask them to consider how and why they are choosing to interact that way they are. If things continue we could rasie the heat.

A lesson that I learned, it took a while :), was that if a post got me worked up, let it sit for a day or so before responding. After the second read, I'm able to be more civil. Since adopting this policy for myself I haven't had to go back and self-edit any of my posts on any forum.
