Communication system recommendations?

Its a horse that has been beat pretty hard. Search "Sena" or "cardo" or "peltor". You'll find lots of other recommendations in those threads. But those will get you to most discussions that have been had.

What I'm still looking for is a system that doesn't require me to have my phone on my but will work with other bluetooth devices. Specifically, open ear (or bone conduction) headphones. I do a lot of pruning with handsaw only, so don't need or want earmuffs in the tree, but it would be nice to have quite conversations with ground crew not having to yell over the traffic noise or the neighbor mowing...

I do not have earmuffs on my normal climbing helmet. It is so infrequent that I use them, I don't need the weight or them catching on things. I put in plugs on the rare occasion I am running a gas chainsaw in the tree.

I do have Sena on a forestry helmet that I use when working in the woods. I agree, it is a great investment.

wondering if anyone wants to share a recommendation for a good communication system?

Thanks
How big is your crew and how often do you work with different people? The older senas are cheaper and are great for up to 3 person crews but start getting annoying around 4 and are basically unusable for 5+. The newer mesh technology is needed if people are going to be coming and going or working with different people day to day.

Sorry for the dead horse question (and I honestly do see that point)…I was kind of wondering if something new has come out that people like more? So anything new?

Thanks guys appreciate the answers
