They're great at 50° or so with a pair of thermals underneath. That's my kind of weather though.

Thermals? Really? You don't burn up?

I wear mine to 28F-29F start up in the AM on up. I did wear thermals (mid weight merino thermal underwear) once with them when the high didn't get above 40F. Thats only because it was windy.

Couple questions @nicoleb Who did you go through for the purchase? What form did you use to measure? I too am looking to have a custom pair made and have been working with Neil at their factory he said it was 15% more to get them custom? Thanks for your help. Also where in NC are you at I lived in Goldsboro for 5 years!

Yea, 50 for a high, after that,I get hot. Midweight merino is what I wear also.

The custom ordering page of the website wasn't working properly previously and was missing the 15% charge for a custom job. We honoured the orders though as it only seemed right. We are looking at ways we can change our production setup so we can do it for free but we're not quite there yet (we'd also like to speed up the delivery time and are working on that too). Sorry. Neil@Clogger

@Magnum783 Sorry...I guess I was one of the lucky ones that got the customs without the service fee straight thru Clogger. @GregManning is right, I'm pretty bad at going on here everyday... and, yes, I have lived in CLT for almost 3 years now.

I was referring to the current design but where the orange areas are, using safety lime. Not the entire pant. Thanks for the reply

I like the idea of safety lime as well. Only problem I seem to have with that color is it seems to get stained quickly

Yeah, everything shows up on that color... but, within a week of buying it, all my stuff looks like I fished it out of a dumpster, anyway. Amazing how it is still extremely visible, no matter how much grease, sap, bar oil, snot, bird shit and mud you get on it.
