Well thats a start. Literal interpretations of the bible are seriously dangerous, especially in government institutions. My main problem with religion is with those that wish to project their values on others. Our government was founded on religious freedom and freedom from religion. A dangerous element in politics doesn't believe this.

There are no “what ifs” in life, but if I were to play this game I would then assume there was some other way that the Lord had brought revelation to us if there wasn’t written scripture.

It's all of our salvation I want us all to repent and serve the way Jesus intended. I hope God reveals himself to you. Maybe hard for someone to fathom whom doesn't let Jesus live in their heart! Thats the ocean of love that he provides!

On the other hand, the Germanic peoples developed gods of the forest and the earth. All told there are thousands of religions in the world. The Abrahamic religious root groups account for the majority of the followers due to a long history of violence and subjugation. We live in a new world where we have the ability to move beyond the concepts of our ancestors. We can measure and quantify with a quantitave data like no people before us. It is time to put religious text on the shelf with other mythologies and move forward.

Move forward to what?? Seriously move forward to what ? I'm praying for wicked people to be healed,so they'll move away from there wicked ways and show others more love, praying for sick people and some whom I've seen overcome afflictions in miraculous ways ..and dealing with cats like you until I'm in heaven and nothing gonna change my ways. Can't you see that!? You want to prove your so smart? But your barking up the wrong tree brother . I can see your very smart, maybe too smart to lean on something that really cannot hurt you ! Explain to me how my belief in Jesus and following his way is detrimental to this world, please ,tell me ! Truth is love ! Is that why you avoid my early question about your kids !? Saying it would offend you ! People offend people . Jesus never hurt a soul

You never answered my original question how I was slightly condescending in my babbling. Now I'm what you called me a cockknocker lol really bro! What I've seen as a trend is non believers shy away from tough questions or ignore !Move away from the fear! I forgive and really don't care What you call me ! I hope you take Jesus as your savior , you will wonder how your life ever made sense before!
