Damn wish I was closer to Athens.
We are still searching. New Urban Forestry are three certified arborists owner operators sharing roles and responsibilities. We offer full tree care services and additionally are working on wood products design, including a furniture line. We also grind all non saw log material for mulch and compost. We need a skilled climber with the potential to one day manage tree care operations. We may offer ownership equity to the right individual. I know you are out there. Athens is a great town. Home of REM, Widespread Panic, and Drive By Truckers for all you music fans.
We are still considering candidates. Will consider contract climbers as well. We are getting backed up.

Quercus nigra are my favorite trees. i love their shape, form, branch structure, the way they don't lose their leaves until february here in Memphis (some people here call them Memphis live oaks), the fact that i have found a few that are 120' + and 6-10' dbh here in town with close to 100' limb walks and branches 4' in diameter, They stink when you have to remove them because of the weight of the wood when its green and the smell when you make big cuts, but they are a blast to prune, i love the way they grow branches down toward the ground and if left alone the branch will touch and grow right back up to the sun.
