Yesterday afternoon, a local man died in a wood chipper mishap. Not many details on the news article that I can find, except that he was the father of a Philadelphia city, police officer. From the little news footage, I found, looks like it was about a 12 inch chipper, which is probably why he was caught in it and didn’t go through it completely.
Very sad for the family, especially with it being the week of Christmas, and a reminder to all of us how careful we should be, and how dangerous the machinery is that we operate every day.
