Chainsaw waterlogged

We had some flooding go through our area. I had 5 saws that were underwater. I tried to dry them out seemed to work for some. What can be done for saws that have been underwater? And what should not be done?

i heard of spraying WD-40 into a piston that had water in the fuel to prevent rusting.

try to flush all water out of the saws . put seafoam in your gas when starting to use saw again . it takes water out of fuel . maybe it will help if any may be left in the saw . you can also put some seafoam in the saw ( put in where spark plug goes ) just be sure to put a very small amount in there . hope this helps . good luck !
